I went to a major box store on the morning of Black Friday and had no trouble getting a parking spot and it was not that crowded. I was just going for a pair of 10lb dumbells recommened by my cardio class instructor, not to shop.
I would recommend Amazon Prime membership to anyone. They already have some good price reductions and excellent delivery.
