7 Highly Rated Crypto-Wallets Baby Boomer Bloggers Doing Research Should Know About

Many Baby Boomers may have decided to tip their big toe into NFT’s. (Non-Fungible-Tokens). It has been all the rave lately and I am sure some of the grand kids or children might be chatting about it. As a result some of you may be researching or actually creating, selling or trading NFT’s.

If you are a babyboomer blogger exploring NFT’s please share a link to your blog in the comments.

Meanwhile, here is a good video explaining the top cryto-wallets. This is a critical aspect since any buying, selling or trading will be done using a money wallet. Please note also that we are not talking about US dollars. The language has changed so you are looking at “ethereum” “teter” “bitcoins” etc.

Do not be intimidated by this video. Look at it several times if you must just to hear  the language. But we must start  learning.

Have You Been Blogging? If No, Time To Get Your Blogging Groove Back!

This crazy time has put more and more baby boomers online. Those of us who created blogs  many moons ago may have started blogging again. But so many of us have those blogs and got stuck in a rut. But now, more than ever, we should be sharing our voices, creations, ideas, griefs and joy.

Are you one of those baby boomers who blog? If yes, please share your last post as a comment to this post. And if you are a baby boomer with a blog that has not blogged the last 6 months or so, it is ok, still share your last post.

Even if you just write a few words to express how you have felt or experienced lately, it merits a blog post which may encouarge or empower someone else.

Lets get our blogging groove back!!!

Are Any of You Using The Blogger Platform for Some of Your Blogs?

The Blogger platform so often gets overlooked when setting up a blog for the first time or if you are a veteran blogger. Yet it is surprisingly simple and part of the Google family. I find that the platform has several advantages.

  1. Great if you want to have an easy way to add adsense to your blogging.
  2. Super if you want a pretty healthy choice of customizable theme
  3. Ideal for exploring a new niche topic area

I just set up a blog on vintage jewelry. Because I have a jewelry shop on Etsy I have a page link to the store. I also found a way to easily utilize my Ebay Affilate link. I am not going to add Adsense until I have more content on the site.

I am forced to post more content on this site because I need to be approved by Adsense and as I post more about vintage jewelry I AM LEARNING and keeping the good old grey matter working.

Do you have other reasons you like Blogger and what are the links to your Blogger Blogs?

New Blogs Need Nurturing and Old Blogs Need Healing

My hubby and I have several blogs. Some are new start ups and some are older. There is a tendency to get excited and devote more time to that infant blog. You want to stroke it feed it good food and share the vision for the future.

But what I am realizing is that the older blogs can get lost and broken when time is not given to them also. The older blogs need  plugin , them and version updates. Plus, if you have not been there in a while comments good and spammy might be waiting for you. So just like children and grand children we have to find a way to make time to heal the ones that are hurting and help the new ones to shine.

If this is not done we become bad parents. I have not been the best parent lately.  I have been involved with other projects and neglecting some of my older blogs. As I review some of them I have to decide if I should put them  up for adoption or let go of the url? That seems so harsh but if I am not going to keep them tuned up is that fair?

I want all my sites to have a hope for the future to help others with their purpose. So this year I am determined to work more on my older sites as well as the newer ones. How about you?

Which Goes First the Chicken or the Egg, The Picture or the Blog Post?

How many times have you created a blog post but realized that you needed a picture? Or, you have a great picture and had to create a blog post just so you could show it off?

I strong believe that whether you locate the picture first and create a blog post around it or create the blog post and hunt for a picture that it does not matter. Both are challenging and the result is the same.

For this short post I created the post for it then looked for the picture. I did not have a picture of a chicken and egg together. Nor did I have a live chicken I could do a quick photo shoot. So I decided to share a picture of a chess board. To me blogging is much like playing chess. It needs a strategy and the one with the best strategy wins the game!

Which order works best for you and why?
